Protein 21.37 g
Collagen peptides are a protein in which the amino acids glycine, lysine and proline are present in high amounts. After activity, the body needs protein to recover and rebuild. Nutrition Water contains 22 grams of protein with added BCAAs and L-Leucine. The proteins in Nutrition Water promote muscle growth and stimulate (lean) muscle mass.
Collagen is one of the most important and most common building blocks of the bones, muscles, tendons and connective tissue in our body. The collagen peptides in Nutrition Water are very similar to the body's own collagen. In addition, the added vitamin C contributes to maintaining strong cartilage and strong bones.
Collagen peptides have another unique quality: the protein strands that make up collagen have already been broken down into directly absorbable amino acids. This way, they can be absorbed directly by the cell without digestion being involved. The resilience, and therefore the absorbability, of collagen peptides is high.
26 electrolytes, vitamins and minerals
Vitamins are micronutrients that your body cannot produce itself but that are essential for maintaining your health. Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 and B12 are not a direct source of energy but are crucial for energy metabolism. Your body's metabolic processes increase during physical exertion, hence their importance. Minerals cannot be produced by the body itself and do not provide energy themselves, but they support your natural energy levels. The minerals your body needs are calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and chloride.

Carbohydrate 10 g + Fibre 2 g
Carbohydrates, including sugars such as glucose, are an important source of energy for the body. During intensive strength and endurance sports, the carbohydrates stored in the muscles, also called muscle glycogen, are the muscles' main source of energy. After intensive training, the body's glycogen stores are largely depleted. Research has shown that a non-optimal amount of glycogen in the muscles reduces performance during training. To be able to perform optimally in your next training session, it is crucial to replenish the glycogen stores in your muscles in time after intensive training. The most effective way to do this is straight after exercise, as this is when the body makes the best use of dietary carbohydrates to replenish its glycogen stores.
In addition, carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after very intensive and/or prolonged exercise that leads to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in the muscles.*
Additional BCAAs (2:1:1) 3 g
Collagen peptides naturally contain lower levels of the amino acids L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine (BCAAs). We have added these three amino acids to Nutrition Water. A large number of studies show that adding extra BCAAs to our protein ensures a higher activation of muscle building, comparable to the intake of whey protein.
Additional L-Leucine 0.8 g
The study indicates that increasing the leucine dose is important if you want long-term stimulation of up to 5 hours after intake. That is why the Nutrition Water® formula contains, in addition to a proven optimal dose of 20-25 grams of protein per serving, not only additional BCAAs but also sufficient leucine, with the aim of contributing to the long-term stimulation of protein synthesis after training.
Tryptophan 0.4 g
Tryptophan is one of the eight essential amino acids. Essential amino acids are amino acids that are not produced by the body itself. They must be obtained as part of a balanced, specific diet or with food supplements. The collagen peptides in Nutrition Water contain 7 of these essential amino acids (phenylalanine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, threonine and valine) and are therefore lacking in tryptophan. By adding tryptophan in the right amounts, we complete the structure of the protein so that it can be used by the body as a raw material for protein synthesis. With Nutrition Water, we go further than simply compensating for limited amino acids. By adding extra tryptophan, BCAAs and L-Leucine, we not only complete our protein but enrich it to the level where absorption is faster and works better.
