Already six goals for Alexandre Mendy this season in Ligue 2 with Stade Malherbe Caen! Second-top scorer in the league last season, the Guinea-Bissau international looks well on course to do it again. Even better, perhaps?
Alex Mendy shone at home this weekend in Jean-Marc Furlan's side's 3-0 win over AC Ajaccio. The Toulon native scored all of his team's goals in under half an hour, in the 36th, 45th and 63rd minutes.
Courted by a Serie A club, the 29-year-old confirmed in the mixed zone after the match that he would still be a Caen player after the transfer window.
